Hi! I’m Jamie the author of I Am A Money Magnet! , a site dedicated to helping you stretch your hard earned dollars even further! I am a 28 year old money saving, coupon loving, penny pinching, deal seeking wife! God is my provider and boy is my storehouse running over!

I am a wife and mom to one precious furbaby! My husband and I live in Western Kentucky. We met in college (2002) and I knew the first time I laid eyes on him that he would be the man I would marry. Sure enough, on December 16, 2006 we were married in the chapel of our Alma Mater. We both work full time, my husband is a middle school teacher and I work with “at-risk”, abused, and neglected children.

I owe my passion for saving and spending wisely to my mom. She has taught me everything there is to know about leading a financially responsible life. Because of this I was able to purchase my first home (this was before I was married) at the age of 24 (with 20% down). I am also fortunate to be able to say that with the exception of our mortgage my husband and I have never been in debt. It is our goal to honor God with our lives and our finances.
