My Newest Amazon Purchase!

by Jamie on September 29, 2010

I’ll admit, I’ve been a tad distracted this week.  Why?

Because I can’t stop reading. Check out my latest Amazon purchase!

mykindle

A  beautiful Amazon Kindle (and a Belkin Grip Kindle Sleeve)!  I love it! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!  The eINK technology is amazing and it really does feel like I’m reading from a real book!

Best of all, there are tons of FREE Kindle books, which is great news because I totally wiped out all the Amazon gift cards I had cashed in through SwagBucks.  I’m about half way through Elvis Takes a Back Seat and it’s hilarious!

If you love to read, you’ll love the Kindle!

(And if you want to get the new Kindle for free  like I did -sign up with SwagBucks and start earning Amazon codes today! )

I am jealous! But I'm glad you're enjoying it. It's amazing that there are so many free Kindle books. It's nice that you can get Kindle for PC for free so you can "try" it out a little before buying!!

Yay for Kindle's. I've had mine for a couple of months now and I LOVE it too. And I'm always searching for free books – there's so much to choose from.

Hey! I’m so excited for you! I don’t have a Kindle, but I have an iPad. E-reading is amazing. My mom-in-law is a voracious reader. We got her a Nook, and she loves it! Enjoy your toy :).

Got my dad a Kindle 3G for his birthday (he's 74) — HE LOVES IT! He's working his way through the Sue Grafton books (alphabet series). I don't think he'll ever go back to a paperback or hardcover. He says it's so easy to read. I'm saving up my swagbucks for my own kindle (75 down….another 64 to go).

My daughter just received a Nook for her birthday. I like how it does give the feel of reading an actual book. I've been eying the Kindle (I LOVE to read), but am so beyond cheap. I would love to know what you think about the navigation and using the built-in WiFi (if you try it out). It really is a toss up between these two e-readers, but I'm leaning towards the Kindle.

Anne- Lol, I'm cheap too. If it weren't for Swagbucks I probably would have never owned one. :) If you love to read, I would definitely save up for an e-Reader. I wasn't sure what to expect and was amazed. So far, I'm finding the navigation sufficient for what I need. I really like having the option to change the page on both sides of the kindle (makes it easier no matter what hand I'm holding it in). I've only used the the Wi-Fi to download books and it's working fabulous so far.
