Good morning!! Guess what? I’m leaving town and heading to Columbus, Ohio for the FIRST-EVER pet blogger conference BlogPaws! Seriously, how fun is that? While I’m not a pet blogger per se… I am a blogger who loves pets (my Honey Bear especially) and I think that qualifies me to attend :) Who knows, maybe one day Honey Bear will have her own blog!
I’ll be out of town today through Sunday so if I’m slower about posting and responding to emails you’ll know why. :)
P.S. We took Honey Bear for a hair cut this week and had her practically shaved. Did you know it was only 5 weeks since her last hair cut and she needed one again?! At $40 a cut, we’re going to have to learn how to shave her ourselves! :) Isn’t she cute though?!

I got really excited when I saw this offer! Except, I wish this offer had come out a week earlier because we just spent $12 on a bag of Purina Puppy Chow for Honey Bear and we really could have used a $2 coupon! It’s all good though, I’m signed up now and we will be prepared the next time she runs out of food!

We have been taking it easy around here the last few days. :) I’ve had every intention of getting my deals together and going to the store, but it just hasn’t happened! Friday,
Honey Bear underwent surgery to be spayed so I’ve spend the weekend keeping my eye on her. She seems to handling it well and today I had to try to keep her from jumping and running (not an easy task with an almost 6 month old puppy)!
After church, I stopped by Kroger to pick up a few things and this evening DH and I stopped by Walmart to pick up supplies to start seeds for the garden. I’m still VERY new to the whole growing a garden thing and I’m hoping to plant on a larger scale this year. I decided to order seeds from
Baker’s Creek Heirloom Seeds and my plan is to try the
Square Foot Gardening Method.
Are you gardening this year? I could really use some good gardening resources/tips so if you have any I’d love to know!
